Shipping Policy

Our orders are shipped out Monday through Friday.

We ship with FedEx®. Each King Cake is shipped individually.

Overnight shipping selections allow for deliveries on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There is an extra $20 charge for Saturday delivery.

Our 2nd Day shipping selection allows for deliveries on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There is an extra $20 charge for Saturday delivery.

Monday delivery is available ONLY on Lundi Gras (the day before Mardi Gras). Overnight shipping is required.

We cannot ship to Alaska or Hawaii, internationally, or to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Receiving a King Cake

We hope you understand that it is the customer’s responsibility to advise the carrier of obvious damage to the outside of the package before you open it, and to notify us immediately of any missing or incorrect contents, or of any damaged items not visible from the outside. Please remember that claims made more than a few days after you receive your order are difficult to resolve. All packaging should be kept in case the shipping company needs to inspect the package.

Return Policy

Due to the nature of King Cakes we cannot accept returns, and all sales are considered final. However, we will work with you to fairly resolve any issue which may arise. Click the Contact button in the left column to contact us directly.

We do our very best to get your order right! Still, sometimes mistakes occur. If we are in error, we will immediately work to make it right for you. Even if the error was yours, we will still gladly work with you to achieve a great outcome. We want you to have a happy King Cake experience with King Cake Headquarters.

Limitations and Conditions

If your order arrives late due to a shipping company delay you may be credited for shipping charges by the shipping company unless the delay is due to weather or delivery attempts which are unsuccessful. Orders placed to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address are not guaranteed. Additional fees may apply to fix and/or forward a package to the correct address. It is the responsibility of the customer/addressee to make sure that the package is promptly accepted. We do not guarantee that delivery will be made if there is no one home to accept a package or if the shipping company is unable to deliver a package. Deliveries may require a signature at some locations. Deliveries to hospitals and hotels are not recommended. These shipments normally go to a general receiving department before being routed internally to the patient and/or guest room. Therefore, we do not guarantee hospital/hotel deliveries. No refunds will be given if the patient and/or guest checks out or cannot be located.

King Cake Headquarters will not be responsible for and no liability shall result to it or any of its affiliates for any delays in delivery or in performance which result from any circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, product unavailability, carrier delays, delays due to fire, hurricanes or other severe weather conditions, failure of power, acts of war, terrorism, embargo, acts of God or acts or laws of any governmental agency. Any shipping dates or completion dates provided by Seller are merely good faith estimates. In all cases, we will work hard to make you happy and earn your business as a repeat customer.
